Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build and renovate homes, to revitalize our communities and restore hope.
About us: Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle, Bureau & Putnam Counties (Habitat-LBPC) is a local Habitat affiliate serving our three county area. We were founded in 1996 and have currently served 14 families through our new and rehabbed home builds. Our affiliate has also assisted in numerous homeowner repair projects for low income homeowners. Working together with our community, we have assisted 14 families and individuals which include 30 children as they now have a safe, secure and affordable place to call home.
Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle, Bureau & Putnam Counties is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
